  • Launching of a new product – High-Grade Eppawala Rock Phosphate (HERP) to the market as a substitute for Imported Rock Phosphates (IRP).

  • Commencing the island-wide 100 - plot pilot scale field-trials programme covering the dry, wet and intermediate zones of the country to determine the agronomic efficiency of Single Super Phosphates (SSP) produced from Eppawala Rock Phosphate.
